Artists are known to get their best ideas in the wee hours of the night. The following series of photographs, all shot after dark, is proof of that notion. A double exposure of a free falling man (JAKE HOLLAND), a young woman caressing a mysterious lake (HEINER LUEPKE), or a quiet evening by a tropical sea (SANJA RADEC); these photographs teeter the line between our #PENSIVELY dreamy thoughts and the desire to stay awake, if only to catch a few more hours of time with those close to us.

Play this #MOONLIT track, Shadow of Tonight by MASCARA, for some dark ambience:

Photographs seen here have been selected via our #SUBMISSION pool on flickr.
